Top 5 New Year’s Resolutions for Board Members

1. I will attend board (and committee) meetings. At said meetings, I will think organizationally and strategically. Before said meetings, I will read the materials sent prior.

2. I will actively support the executive director/CEO.

3. I will make my own investment/gift early.

4. I will actively be a promoter and ambassador for my organization on social media and offline too, thinking about people in my own network to bring to events and to educate about my organization’s mission and work.

5. I will help identify and recruit new prospective committee and board members who bring the skills, characteristics and attributes my organization needs now and in the future.
